Goztepe SK Ready To Swoop For EKIGHO EHIOSUN
Published: August 02, 2012Ekigho Ehiosun's search for a new club could soon be over. Reports in the Turkish media are strongly linking the Super Eagle with ambitious 1 Lig outfit Göztepe SK.
According to information from birincilighaber.com, Ehiosun is one of two strikers that could be joining Göztepe SK in the summer transfer market. The other name being considered by the club's management is the Belgian forward Emile Mpenza, who last played in Azerbaijan with Neftchi Baku.
Hapoel Tel Aviv had earlier been linked with a concrete interest for Ehiosun. But his annual wages of 375,000 euros pulled the plug on a potential deal.
Ehiosun proved his mettle in his first year outside the shores of Nigeria. This past season, the 23-year-old bagged 9 goals in 31 matches for relegated Samsunspor.
