Besiktas Ready To Swoop For TAYE TAIWO
Published: November 23, 2012According to Turkish media, Besiktas are ready to swoop for Nigeria international Taye Taiwo in the winter transfer market.
Fotomac has revealed that coach Samet Aybaba scouted Taiwo in Dynamo Kiev's Champions League match against PSG on Wednesday.
Following the injury to regular left wing back İsmail Köybaşı, the club is looking for an alternative defender to fill the vacuum created by his absence, and the focus is on Taiwo, who impressed despite the 0 - 2 loss to PSG.
Taiwo had been linked with Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray in the past. Transfer market experts value him at around 4.5 million euros.
