EMMANUEL SARKI Testing With Wisla Krakow
Published: December 07, 2012Ahead of a potential move in the January transfer window, former Nigeria youth international Emmanuel Sarki has started tests in Poland with WisÅa Kraków , informs sport.pl.
Sarki appeared in training on Thursday and will be offered a contract by The White Star if he impresses coach Tomasz Kulawik at the end of tests.
In the past, Sarki was regarded as one of Nigeria's most promising youngsters. While his pal John Obi Mikel is now a successful footballer with Chelsea, he did not play an official game for the European champions and had to be offloaded.
He later joined MS Ashdod where he showed glimpses of his form as a teenager, and that made Belgian club Waasland-Beveren to offer him a contract after spending only one season in Israel. However, at the end of the 2011 - 2012 campaign, he declined to extend his contract and thus became a free agent.
This summer, he trialed at Danish club Brondby but nothing came out of the tests.
