Eagles Thrash Farense
Today, the Super Eagles defeated Portuguese second division club Farense 5 - 0 in the team's final warm up game before they depart for South Africa, venue of the African Cup of Nations which runs from January 19 - February 10.

With only one goal scored through Chelsea midfielder John Mikel Obi from the penalty spot,  the first half of the match was not too interesting for neutrals.

The second half was different as Nigeria capitalized on spaces to score four more goals through Ikechukwu Uche, who netted a hat-trick, and Emmanuel Emenike.

The Eagles next game is a competitive one against Burkina Faso on Monday, January 21, their opening match at the African Cup of Nations.
