Siena Ahead Of Fortuna Dusseldorf, St Gallen In Race For Emeghara
Published: January 20, 2013Looking for an offensive reinforcement in the January transfer market, Siena have submitted an undisclosed bid to Lorient for the acquisition of Nigerian striker Innocent Emeghara, who plays with a Swiss Passport, writes calciomercato.com.
Under contract with Lorient until June 2015, Emeghara has managed only one appearance in the French championship this season, and wants to take his trade to a team where he will play with continuity.
Also in the running but lagging behind in the race for Emeghara are clubs in Germany(Fortuna Düsseldorf ), Switzerland( St Gallen,Young Boys) and Britain.
The hierarchy at Lorient is evaluating the proposal from Siena and will decide the fate of the center forward early this week.
