Ezekiel Henry Scores Brilliant Goal For AC Milan
Published: February 03, 2013Nigerian youngster Ezekiel Henry posted a man-of-the-match display for AC Milan as the Primavera won 3-1 away to Varese on Saturday.
The young Rossoneri had gone ahead two minutes into the game through a spot kick converted by Adrea Ganz.
Henry however increased the lead in the 7th minute when he took the ball in their own half, embarked on a solo run to dribble past the Varese defenders before putting it past goalkeeper Di Graci.
Speaking to Sportitalia after the game , Henry has likened his goal to that of Milan legend George Weah.
''I am happy I scored like George Weah, he was a great player who won the Ballon D'or and would like to be like him. I need to work hard to realize the dream of winning it too,'' says the former Flying Sport Academy rookie.
With four goals to his kitty, Ezekiel is the third highest goalscorer for the Primavera squad.
