Published: February 09, 2013Burkina Faso exciting winger Jonathan Pitroipa has expressed his delight after his red card was rescinded by tournament's organizers CAF. Consequently, he is available for Sunday's decisive game against Nigeria.
Lebuteur.com quoted the Rennes player as saying: ''After the expulsion, I was shocked. Despite the 1-1 score , I was sure we would qualify and that I was not going to participate. At the time I was really touched and I could not restrain myself. But now I laugh and I'm happy to rejoin the group for the final.''
Jonathan Pitroipa, who is one of the standout players at the African Cup of Nations, has netted 2 goals in 5 matches for the Stallions.
