Ideye Eager To Prove Himself Against Bordeaux
Published: February 18, 2013Nigeria international Brown Ideye has returned to the location of Dynamo Kiev and is eager to prove himself in the upcoming Europa League tie with Bordeaux.
Speaking to the official website of the Ukrainian vice - champions, Ideye said: ''Bordeax are a good team. I have friends there who played with me in Sochaux. Bordeax are a big team and they play really good in League 1.
''I believe this is a great opportunity for Dynamo Kiev to show what we can. Truly speaking we can beat any team. So I believe that if we play very well we can beat Bordeaux.''
Before making a nine million euros switch to Dynamo Kiev back in 2011, Ideye was on the payroll of French team Sochaux. And the Super Eagle netted a brace in his last game at the Stade Jacques Chaban-Delmas, Bordeaux.
''I believe that the game in Bordeux will be a big game because they know me very well and they know what I can. And I know almost all of their players except some newcomers who joined the team recently.
''Besides I have some friends who play there. And I know their head coach too. I played for Sochaux under Francis Gillot .
''He knows me very well. So I believe the game in Bordeux will be very interesting and competitive,'' said Ideye.
