Red Star Belgrade Striker Abiola Dauda Thanks Teammates For Support
Published: April 07, 2013Abiola Dauda found the back of the net for the second consecutive game after his 89th minute winner handed Red Star Belgrade a hard fought 1 - 0 win over Smederevo.
The 25 - year - old Nigerian striker has now notched 3 goals in his last two games in the Serbian Super Liga.
Dauda is very pleased with his recent goal- rush after he drew blanks in his first three games for the 1991 European kings.
''There is really no secret behind my form. When I was not scoring, I kept believing in myself as I knew the goals will come.
''I have not targeted any specific number of goals but anything can happen, we have eight more games to play.
''The support from the team has been massive since I joined this great club. Everybody took me in well,'' says Dauda to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Abiola Dauda is optimistic that Red Star Belgrade stand a chance of winning the championship as they trail log leaders Partizan by four points.
