Funso Ojo Inks One - Year Deal With Chievo Verona

Funso Ojo, once regarded as one of the top youngsters in world football, has failed to live up to his wonder-kid tag.

Last season, the 21 - year - old played for Beerschot AC , who lost their top flight status and have been declared bankrupt.

According to Voetbal International, Ojo has signed a one - year contract with Serie A side Chievo Verona.

The Belgium youth - teamer previously defended the colors of Dutch teams PSV Eindhoven and VVV Venlo.

He played 23 league matches for Beerschot AC this past season.
