Dutch Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven have sealed progress to the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League following a 2-1 win over Istanbul giants Galatasaray on Wednesday.
Anglo-Nigeria winger Noni Madueke continued his red hot form by opening the scoring eight minutes before half-time.
The England U21 international, who bagged an assist in the first leg, unleashed a low first-time shot from the edge of the penalty area that took a deflection, giving PSV a five-goal advantage over two legs in the process.
Madueke was pleased to get on the scoresheet, adding that the players were concentrated despite the atmosphere in the Basaksehir Fatih Terim Stadyumu (Istanbul).
Speaking post-match to PSV YouTube channel, Madueke said : "2-1. Champions League qualification to the next round, I think it was a great evening.
"We played a good team and I'm just really proud that my team won both games with such a resounding scoreline, it's giving us real confidence going into the next round.
"Of course you come into the stadium and you are hearing whistles and it's loud and the atmosphere is crazy.
"We stuck to our task, we were together, main thing is that we had each other back from the start so that we kind of blocked out the noise and executed the game plan."
PSV will face Danish club FC Midtjylland in the third qualifying round of the Champions League, with the first leg taking place at the Philips Stadion (Eindhoven) on August 3.
