Scottish giants Celtic have been linked with a potential January move for Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi, according to reports from The Herald.
The Hoops are said to be monitoring the Nigerian forward’s situation closely as they look to strengthen their attacking options in the winter transfer window.
Moffi, who joined OGC Nice on a permanent deal in the summer of 2023 following a successful loan spell, is reportedly seeking a way out of the Allianz Riviera after a disturbing incident involving supporters.
The 26-year-old and teammate Jérémie Boga were allegedly assaulted by fans following Nice’s 3-1 defeat to Lorient in December 2025.
In the aftermath, Moffi requested sick leave and is now understood to be pushing for a contract termination in order to secure a fresh start elsewhere.
While Nice are reportedly open to sanctioning a loan move rather than a permanent exit, Celtic are said to be among the clubs keeping tabs on developments.
The Glasgow side view Moffi as a possible solution to their attacking struggles this season.
If the move materialises, it would see the striker reunite with fellow Super Eagles star Kelechi Iheanacho, who is hoping to return to action after recently recovering from injury.
