Spartak Moscow manager Domenico Tedesco says he is satisfied with the club's transfer business in the last summer transfer window.
2013 Africa Cup of Nations-winning winger Victor Moses was one of the players that strengthened The Red-Whites along with Aleksandr Sobolev.
Spartak Moscow were in the market for a right back with offensive attributes and eventually swooped for the Chelsea star after Tottenham Hotspur defender Serge Aurier turned down a move to the Russian Premier League giants.
Moses joined the Red-Whites in October
2020 for a loan fee of 300,000 euros and a purchase clause set at five
million euros.
"I was initially pleased with the composition. And I am very pleased with the work that we have done with the team," Tedesco told reporters at a press conference on Thursday.
"From the very beginning, we talked about the positions that need to be strengthened - the right-back and the forward. We got Sobolev and Moses.
"Now we have a balance of youth and experienced players - everyone's eyes are shining."
Spartak Moscow will make a decision on whether to trigger the
purchase clause in Moses' contract at the end of the 2020-2021 season, after consulting
with the coaching staff.
