Stoke City Keeping Tabs On Werder Bremen Frontman Anthony Ujah
Stoke City have beamed their searchlight on Nigeria international Anthony Ujah, ahead of the opening of the January transfer window. <br /><br />German newspaper <i>Bild</i> says the Werder Bremen frontman will not come cheap if the transfer materializes, considering that he has contractual obligations with The River Islanders until June 30, 2019.<br /><br />Stoke City manager, Mark Hughes, has taken note of Anthony Ujah’s performance in the Bundesliga this term, with 5 goals (2 assists) in 12 appearances and this is complemented by the 2 goals he has scored in the DFB Pokal.<br /><br />A product of Warri Wolves, the 25 - year - old was linked with moves to Leicester City and Crystal Palace before penning a deal with Werder Bremen in the summer.<br />
