Akor Adams continued his impressive run of form on Saturday, scoring in his third consecutive LaLiga game as Sevilla secured a 2-1 victory over Athletic Bilbao.

After scoring a brace on his return from the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, Adams added another goal to underline his importance to Sevilla this season.

The forward found the net in the second half of the league fixture, helping his team secure all three points against Athletic Bilbao.

The win came in a closely contested match, with Sevilla eventually emerging 2–1 winners.

Adams’ contribution proved decisive, as his goal added to Sevilla’s tally on the night and maintained their positive momentum in the league.

The strike against Athletic Bilbao took Adams’ LaLiga total to six goals for the campaign. In addition to his scoring output, the forward has also registered two assists, bringing his overall contribution to eight goal involvements in 16 league appearances so far this season.

Adams’ return from international duty has coincided with a strong spell for Sevilla.

His brace following the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations signaled a quick return to club action, and his latest goal further highlighted his consistent presence in front of goal.

Sevilla’s victory over Athletic Bilbao added another important result to their league campaign, with Adams once again playing a key role.

With six goals and two assists in LaLiga this season, Adams continues to be a regular contributor for Sevilla in domestic competition.
