Super Eagles Striker Henry Set To Make Comeback Tonight After 122 Days Out
Super Eagles striker Henry Onyekuru is poised to make a comeback on Tuesday, April 24 after spending the last four months on the sidelines, according to various reports in the Belgian media.
HLN says Henry Onyekuru will celebrate his comeback with the reserve team of Anderlecht when they face Sporting Lokeren in the Reserve Pro League.
The Everton loanee has not kicked a ball in a competitive match since he suffered a intraarticular ligament crack knee injury against his former club Eupen on December 22, 2017.
Because of this serious injury, Onyekuru is doubtful to be included in Nigeria's World Cup roster, bearing it in mind that he was not a regular prior to his spell on the sidelines.
If he comes through tonight's game unscathed, there is a possibility that first-team boss Hein Vanhaezebrouck will name the Nigerian in the match day squad for the upcoming game against Sporting Charleroi.
In 28 outings across all competitions this season, Onyekuru has found the net ten times.
