Joe Aribo is confident that Scottish Premiership champions-in-waiting Glasgow Rangers can qualify to the next round of the Europa League but is aware that there is still work to be done despite Steven Gerrard's side holding a 4-3 lead going into the second leg round of 32 clash against Royal Antwerp.
The Super Eagles number 10 is now at his peak form after fully recovering from an ankle injury that saw him miss several games in the first part of the season.
Since Aribo joined the Light Blues in the summer of 2019, they have never lost a match he got on the scoresheet and that good fortune continued when they came from behind to nick a win in last Thursday's clash at Bosuil - Deurne, with the midfielder opening the scoring in the 39th minute.
"To play in European football is a big stage, so it is always nice to be involved in these kind of fixtures and to play in these games," Aribo told reporters at Wednesday's press conference.
"It is just the cherry on the icing.
"The boys are in high spirits. All we are doing, though, is just taking every game as it comes.
"We are just looking at the next 90 minutes and wanting to get the result that is needed in order to keep pushing to where we are going."
Aribo was in the Rangers side that beat Sporting Braga home and away in the last 32 of the 2019-2020 Europa League, before losing to Bayer Leverkusen in the round of 16.
