Versatile Defender Who Trained With Super Eagles In London Joins Dover Athletic
Through official channels, Vanarama National League club Dover Athletic have announced the signing of Femi Ilesanmi for the forthcoming season.
The left wing-back arrives the Whites from Boreham Wood, for whom he made forty-five appearances last season.
Born in Southwark to Nigerian parents, Ilesanmi started off his career with AFC Wimbledon and rose through the ranks before making his first team debut against Whyteleafe at the age of 16.
The versatile defender has also played for Queens Park Rangers, Ashford Town, Dagenham & Redbridge, Histon and York City.
Femi Ilesanmi appears to have committed his international future to the Super Eagles, having trained with the squad during their get-together in London in March.
