Done Deal: Manchester United Product Joins Ninth Club In England
Vanarama National league North club AFC Telford have announced the signing of Manchester United Academy product Sylvan Ebanks-Blake on undisclosed terms.
The 31-year-old joins the Lillywhites on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Chesterfield at the end of the 2016-2017 season.
AFC Telford boss Rob Edwards was delighted with the signing of Ebanks-Blake.
He told the club's official website: ''I am absolutely delighted to have secured the signing of Sylvan, he has been training with us for a while and we thought it may not happen at one point, but I am very happy to have got him signed and he will no doubt become a real coup for the club.
''Sylvan joins the club with a great attitude and feels he has a point still to prove in his career.''
Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, who is a striker by trade, numbers Cambridge United, Plymouth Argyle, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Ipswich Town, Preston North End, Chesterfield and Shrewsbury Town amongst his former clubs.
