Nantes' Simon assists two, Paderborn's Collins one as clubs secure wins in league matches

Paderborn fullback Jamilu Collins and Nantes winger Moses Simon bagged assists to help their respective clubs register wins in league matches on Sunday afternoon.

On matchday three in the German 2 Bundesliga, Paderborn recorded a big away win against Werder Bremen, their first of the season - a 4-1 success.

Felix Platte headed into the right corner to open the scoring after a cross from Collins, the number 36 got his second of the game in the 17th minute and things got better for the visitors when Sven Michel added a third nine minutes before half time.

In the second half, Niklas Uwe Schmidt reduced the deficit before Ron Schallenberg headed home the final goal of the game.

Collins has had a good start to the season in terms of game time, going the distance in all their four matches across all competitions.

Nantes' Super Eagles winger Simon was absolutely superb against Metz, chipping in with two assists in a 2-0 win at Stade de La Beaujoire.

Randal Kolo Muani opened the scoring with a right-footed shot in the 12th minute after Simon directed a ball squarely in the box, and Ludovic Blas headed the ball home two minutes into the second half following a cross from the Super Eagles star.
