Emmanuel Osahon, the head coach of FC Robo has appealed to Lagos State Government, headed by Gov Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) to come to the aid of his team as they prepare to make the state proud in the 2013/2014 Nigeria Women Premier League scheduled to kickoff on 1st March, 2014.
The team qualified for the Premier League with a 3rd place finish in the Pool B of the 2012/2013 Abridged season.
It was a feat no one expected, as the side is full of rookies.
Robo, were written off by pundits and followers of the game but they did well to qualify in a group that had Delta Queens, Nasarawa Amazons, Taraba Queens, Standard Babes, Inneh Queens, Martins Whyte Doves, Adamawa Queens, Osun Babes and Confluence Queens.

“Gov Fashola is a man that has never joked with sports in the state, we all appreciate his efforts since he started this great journey.
“I am using this medium to appeal to him to assist us in the upcoming season,” he said.
