Official : Jalil Anibaba Joins Ike Opara At Sporting Kansas City

Through official channels, MLS side Sporting Kansas City have announced that the club have struck a deal with Orlando City SC. for the signature of American defender of Nigerian descent, Jalil Anibaba.
Initially selected by Orlando City as the sixth pick of the MLS Expansion Draft, the ex USA youth international has now moved to Sporting KC after he was used as makeweight in the deal to bring Aurelien Collin to the Citrus Bowl.
Per club and MLS policy, Sporting KC have refused to disclose the financial terms and duration of his contract.
Jalil Anibaba turned out for Seattle Sounders in the just concluded season, starting 14 games for the capital side.
And before his switch to the Sounders, he defended the colours of Chicago Fire and Carolina Dynamo among others.
The 26 - year - old joins Ike Okpara , a former USA youth - teamer, at the Wizards.
