Exclusive : Obinna Ajoku Reveals He Signed Six - Month Tarxien Rainbows Deal

Tarxien Rainbows new recruit Obinna Ajoku says he is delighted to complete his transfer to the Maltese Premier League campaigners.
And the 30 - year - old has revealed that he penned a six - month deal with Tarxien Rainbows, with the club having the option of prolonging his contract for an additional season come June.
“The offer was good and that is why I decided to join them from Asia to have a taste of European football, ” says Obinna Ajoku to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“Since I came here, I noticed they are nice people in the sense that they are very much accommodating, and the environment is conducive.
“It is nice for me to be here. The fans, coaches and officials and so on are all good people. ”
The forward could debut for his new employer when they take on Qormi on Sunday in the top - tier.
“I am hoping to do my best if I get to play on Sunday, though I must admit that I am not used to the cold here.
“But I have to give my very best to my fans around the world - in Vietnam, Thailand and Nigeria as well.
“I strongly need their support and the new fans here in Malta that I love so much,” the former Gabros star concluded.
For the remainder of this season, Obinna Ajoku will sport the number 21 jersey.
