Stone Evbuomwan : Big Difference Between Nigeria And Egyptian League
Published: February 10, 2015
Arab Contractors new recruit Stone Evbuomwan is eagerly looking forward to making his debut for the Egyptian Premier League side.
But it is unclear the date the former Dolphins midfielder would play his official match for his new team, as the league has been suspended indefinitely after 25 fans lost their lives in the game between Zamalek and ENPPI on Sunday.
“I am very well prepared, I have been playing well in all the friendly matches, and I have been commended that I am very good. I am just waiting to test the real league game,” says Stone Evbuomwan to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“Arab Contractors said they want to give me a surprise, that on my debut I will find out what it is.
“ I used the game I played for the Under 21 team against Zamalek Under 21s to prepare for the main squad, but unfortunately the league has been suspended.
“I played a friendly match today again against the Chad champions, who are preparing for the Champions League.”
Asked to compare the NPFL and the Egyptian Premier League, the ABS product answered : “There is a big difference - in welfare, organization and in fact everything to be honest.
“The only thing is that Nigeria have more talented players. ”
Evbuomwan has not been handed a jersey number yet, but he would love to wear the number four kit for the rest of this season.
