Exclusive : CS Sfaxien Hoping To Conclude Signing Of Kingsley Sokari This Week
Published: December 14, 2015
Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Tunisian Ligue 1 side CS Sfaxien are on the brink of announcing the capture of Kingsley Sokari from Enyimba.
An intermediary representing CS Sfaxien is extremely confident that the Enyimba midfielder will put pen to paper on a contract before the end of this week.
Sokari was heavily linked with a switch to Esperance in the summer transfer market, even traveling to Tunis to formalize the move, but Nigeria Professional Football League champions Enyimba pulled the plug on the deal.
The 20 - year - old would have been one of the players that represented the Dream Team at the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations but was dropped by coach Samson Siasia after he left camp to collect his NPFL winners medal on the eve of the team’s departure to Gambia for a training camp.
The Port Harcourt City FC product has been courted by teams based in Sweden, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia in the past.
