Levadiakos Leapfrog Krylya Sovetov In Race For Abdul AjagunGreek Super League side Levadiakos have opened discussions with Panathinaikos over the loan signing of Abdul Ajagun.

According to gazzetta.gr, Russians Krylya Sovetov had been in the driving seat to snap up the ex-Flying Eagles star but are now lagging behind as the money they offered to buy him outright in the summer did not meet his valuation.

Panathinaikos are expected to sanction Abdul Ajagun’s transfer to Levadiakos for the remainder of this season.

The attacking midfielder has not featured in the last four matches contested by The Greens in all competitions, fueling speculation that he is surplus to requirements and set to depart the club before the window closes.

Ajagun joined Panathinaikos in the summer of 2013 after starring for Nigeria at the Fifa Under 20 World Cup staged in Turkey.
