Why Nigeria International Striker Has Not Debuted For KV Mechelen
Published: December 14, 2016
It has come to light that Nigeria international Osaguona Ighodaro has yet to make his debut for KV Mechelen because of an injury.
The former Enugu Rangers and Raja Casablanca star has been given the green light to play for KV Mechelen , with Fifa ruling in October that his transfer to the Belgian First Division A side was valid.
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Ighodaro was on the brink of making his debut but picked up a tendon injury ahead of the clash, and this is expected to keep him out of action until next year.
The 26-year-old has penned a one-year contract with KV Mechelen and it is thought he won’t be offered a new deal for the simple reason that he has not had the chance to impress the coaching staff five months before the end of his contract.
