Chelsea's Abraham Has Got The Midas Touch: Scores 20 Minutes Into Swans Debut
Published: July 20, 2017
Nigerian striker Tammy Abraham netted the game-winner on his debut for Swansea City in their 2-1 win over Richmond Kickers in a pre-season friendly at the City Stadium on Wednesday night.
The Chelsea loanee trained with his teammates for only three days before stepping out onto the pitch, and he's proving he has a Midas touch, having scored on his first appearance for the Swans.
Abraham started the match on the bench but was brought on in the 62nd minute with his team leading 1-0.
In the 82nd minute, the 19-year-old netted his first ever goal in a Swansea City shirt when he headed home Martin Olsson's cross from point-blank range.
For the forthcoming season, Tammy Abraham has been handed the number ten shirt by the Liberty Stadium outfit.
The prolific marksman scored 26 goals in all competitions while wearing the jersey of Bristol City last term.
