Published: October 26, 2017
New Algeria coach Rabah Madjer will not make wholesale changes when he announces his roster for the upcoming World Cup qualifier against Nigeria on November 10.
The former Porto star and his assistants have drawn up a provisional list of 35 players that can be summoned for the match against the Super Eagles, according to Le Buteur.
All the players named in the squad list against Cameroon plus Leicester City duo Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimani, and Bentaleb are part of the provisional squad.
Madjer will meet again with his two assistants this Saturday at the Sidi Moussa National Technical Center to choose the 23 players who will be officially invited for the match against the Super Eagles.
As for Nigeria, manager Gernot Rohr is expected to announce his squad list as from this weekend after the league matches must have taken place across Europe.
The German is sweating on the fitness of Victor Moses, John Ogu, Elderson Echiejile and Leon Balogun, while the likes of Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Dele Ajiboye and Abdullahi Shehu may not be match fit.
