Nigeria international Obafemi Martins has been included in the list of players with the top seven hardest shots in the history of the Premier League by British newspaper The Sun.
The former Newcastle United striker finished in sixth position ahead of Manchester United legend David Beckham's effort against Derby County on September 4, 1996.
Martins's thunderbolt against Tottenham Hotspur on January 14, 2007 was recorded at 84mph, which is four miles less than the maximum speed of a Spur-winged goose.
The former Inter Milan, Wolfsburg and Levante star scored 35 goals in 104 appearances during his three-year stay at St James Park and had a brief loan spell at Birmingham City in 2011.
David Beckham's shot against Chelsea took the number one spot on the list, it was timed at 97.9mph.
