Iwobi, Moses, Mikel, Ekong Train Fully; Ndidi & Balogun Cleared To Face Czechs
Published: June 05, 2018Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that new Brighton & Hove signing Leon Balogun is back in contention to face Czech Republic in the Super Eagles final pre-World Cup friendly tomorrow.
Despite his injury scare during the first half of the friendly vs England, the central defender participated in full training with the national team this morning and evening.
Balogun is one of six Super Eagles stars that missed Monday evening's full training session, the others being captain Obi Mikel, Brian Idowu, Alex Iwobi, Victor Moses and Troost-Ekong, but they have all been given a clean bill of health to play on Wednesday.
Another highlight of this evening's session was Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi completing all the exercises and he is in line to play his comeback game against Czech Republic.
Some players put up a dismal show in the first half of Nigeria's loss to England and with that in mind, manager Gernot Rohr will definitely make changes to the starting lineup.
Nigeria lost their last two friendlies against Serbia and England in London, and will be targeting a win tomorrow.
