Chelsea To Make Second Bid For Talented Juventus Defender
Published: July 24, 2018
Chelsea are poised to make an improved bid for Juventus defender, Daniele Rugani, the Sun UK has revealed.
The Stamford Bridge outfit had earlier seen a £36m offer for the 23-year old knocked back by the Old Lady who are looking to recoup some of the money they have invested in their latest marquee signing of Cristiano Ronaldo who arrived this summer.
The Blues new manager, Maurizio Sarri has reportedly urged the club's transfer director, Marina Granovskaia to try and make another attempt at signing the Italian as Sarri continues to build a squad for next season.
Rugani played under his compatriot when he was on the books of Empoli before joining Juventus.
