Roma loanee Sadiq Umar has taken six games to open his goalscoring account for Perugia after finding the net in their 3-2 win at Venezia in a Serie B clash at Stadio Pierluigi Penzo.

The former Nigeria U23 international collected the ball in midfield, then embarked on a run before firing a right-footed strike past goalkeeper Vicario in the 12th minute.

The 22-year-old Sadiq has gone the distance in three of the six games he has featured in since returning from an uneventful loan spell with Rangers in Scotland.

Elsewhere, in-form Chuba Akpom played a key role as PAOK advanced to the semifinals of the Greek Football Cup by scoring in the 114th minute in a 4-2 win against Panionios.

The Arsenal product headed home from close range after Panionios failed to deal with a cross into the box.

Akpom has contributed to seven goals (4 goals, 3 assists) in eleven appearances for PAOK in 2019.
