Confirmed team news: 2015 Golden Eaglets invitee ruled out of Chelsea v Luton Town
Published: August 25, 20232015 Golden Eaglets invitee Gabriel Osho is unlikely to make his Premier League debut when newly-promoted Luton Town battle Chelsea at Stamford Bridge under the lights on Friday, August 25.
The central defender was unavailable for selection in Luton Town's first-ever game in the Premier League against Brighton & Hove and in his absence, the Hatters conceded four goals, though the scoreline was flattering to the Seagulls.
Providing a squad update on the eve of the game, Luton Town confirmed on their official website that 'Osho is still ruled out ahead of this fixture'.
Manager Rob Edwards will not be able to count on the services of Osho due to a knee injury.
The Reading academy product played a key role for Luton Town as they secured promotion to the Premier League via the playoffs, scoring an important goal in the semifinals second leg win at home to Sunderland.
Luton Town triggered a one-year option on Osho's contract after his impressive performances last season.
Since his arrival at Luton Town in November 2020, he has logged 62 appearances in all competitions and scored three goals.
