Introducing Elisha Sulola: The Tottenham Hotspur academy product with Super Falcons potential

The Nigerian football setups never fail to produce quality forwards and the Super Falcons are no exception.

From the primitive likes of Perpetua Nkwocha down to modern day women's football stalwarts like Asisat Oshoala, there is no doubt whatsoever that the future of the national team is in safe hands.

Dual-national players who commit their international football future to the nine-time African Queens are also no exceptions as the likes of Toni Payne have completely stolen the hearts of football fans with their expertise, flair, wizardry and tactical ability.

Another Nigeria-eligible marks woman with the potential to captivate minds emerges. Her name? Elisha Sulola.

Hailing from England by birth she also boasts Nigerian nationality. Born on June 7, 2001, Elisha Mary Sulola is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder or winger for Spanish Liga F side Valencia CF Femenino.

Prior to joining Valencia CF Femenino, Sulola honed her skills at Charlton Athletic and Tottenham.

Her time in the Tottenham academy provided her with valuable experience and development opportunities, shaping her into the talented player she is today.

Moreover, her stint at Valadares Gaia in Portugal further contributed to her growth as a footballer, exposing her to different playing styles and environments.

In terms of playing style, Sulola is known for her offensive prowess, characterized by her ability to create scoring opportunities and contribute to the attacking phase of the game.

Her vision, creativity, and technical ability make her a formidable presence in the final third, capable of unlocking defenses and providing crucial assists or even finding the back of the net herself.

One of Sulola's standout attributes is her versatility on the field. As a midfielder, she possesses the ability to seamlessly transition between playing on the wing and operating in central areas.

This adaptability not only adds tactical flexibility to her team but also demonstrates her well-rounded skill set and football intelligence.

However, Sulola's impact extends beyond just the attacking aspect of the game. Defensively, her physicality and athleticism allow her to cover a considerable amount of ground, making her an effective presence in midfield battles and defensive duels.

Additionally, her prowess in the aerial game adds another dimension to her defensive capabilities, making her a valuable asset in both offensive and defensive set pieces.

Furthermore she hasn't been capped by England at any level and so therefore, Sulola holds the potential to represent the Nigerian national team, the Super Falcons, on the international stage if approached by the Nigerian Football Federation.
