15 players in Nigeria camp as Iwobi, Bassey, Onyeka, Onuachu report for duty

The Super Eagles continue to build their squad ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, with fifteen players now in camp as Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey, Frank Onyeka and Paul Onuachu have reported for duty.

The full list of players currently in camp includes Francis Uzoho, Stanley Nwabali, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, Amas Obasogie, Semi Ajayi, Ademola Lookman, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Igho Ogbu, Tochukwu Nnadi, Zaidu Sanusi, alongside the four  new arrivals, Iwobi, Bassey, Onyeka and Onuachu. 

The Super Eagles are scheduled to face Egypt in an international friendly on Tuesday as part of their preparation for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The team has been drawn in Group C, alongside Tunisia, Tanzania, and Uganda, ahead of the continental tournament.

The early arrivals have settled into camp routines, allowing coaching staff to continue coordination and planning for the full squad.

The ongoing preparations in Cairo reflect the team’s commitment to readiness ahead of their 2025 AFCON campaign.

The Super Eagles will continue to strengthen their squad as additional players are expected to join camp in the coming days, bringing the team closer to full capacity before the start of the Africa Cup of Nations.
