Academy Boss Explains Why Man City Wonderkid Iheanacho Rejected Move To Arsenal
Taye Academy supremo <span class="st">Kennedy Ezenwere has explained why he failed to sanction the transfer of Nigeria international Kelechi Iheanacho to English Premier League club Arsenal in 2014.<br /><br />The Gunners hierarchy had sent their former chief scout Steve Rowley to run the rule over the former Golden Eaglets sensation at the 2013 Fifa U17 World Cup, but a deal never materialized. <br /><br />“Arsenal were interested in Kelechi but I blocked the move, there was a problem with the agent brokering the deal, ” </span><span class="st"><span class="st">Ezenwere told <b>allnigeriasoccer.com</b>.</span><br /><br /></span><span class="st">“I picked Manchester City ahead of Arsenal not because of money.
