Cameroon icon Rigobert Song and Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen (pictured) were spotted in the stands during Galatasaray's 1-1 draw with Kocaelispor in a Turkish Super Lig encounter on Sunday, April 12.
Rigobert Song is a genuine African football great, having won two Africa Cup of Nations titles during his playing career.
He is also a former player of Galatasaray, where he made 138 appearances, scored six goals, and won two Süper Lig titles alongside a Turkish Cup during his spell in Istanbul.
Song attended the match alongside Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek and the Turkish ambassador to Cameroon, in a prestigious setting at RAMS Park.
Osimhen also watched from the stands as the match unfolded, with Leroy Sané's header putting Galatasaray ahead in the 30th minute before Bruno Petković restored parity in the 72nd minute.
Since the Nigerian's return from the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, fitness concerns have kept him sidelined for four league matches, with the Lion securing just one victory in that run.
However, Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk confirmed at the post-match press conference that the club's record signing has started training and will be in the squad for the upcoming clash with Gençlerbirliği S.K. on April 18.
