Aston Villa legend Gabby Agbonlahor has urged Anglo-Nigerian wonderkid Carney Chukwuemeka to reject advances from three Premier League giants.
According to The Guardian UK, Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool
are monitoring the situation of the highly-rated England U19 international.
Chukwuemeka played his first game under new Aston Villa boss Steven Gerrard on December 1, coming off the bench to replace the injured Matt Targett with 23 minutes to go.
The former Rangers boss has held showdown talks with Chukwuemeka, advising him that Villa is the right place to continue his development.
Speaking to Football Insider, Agbonlahor said : "You might have clubs like Man City and Man United looking at you but you’ve got more chance of breaking through at Aston Villa and get minutes.
"If I was him I’d keep with it, keep performing for the Under-23s, keep performing in training with Steven Gerrard.
"He will get his chance and you’ve got to be patient. Look at Jacob Ramsey, he got his chance.
"When you get your chance take it. My advice would be to reject offers from Liverpool and everyone else, stay and sign a new contract with the club.
"He’s still young. All you need is that one game, make it count and you’ll stay in the team."
