Ahmed Musa's CSKA Moscow Win Super Cup

CSKA Moscow signaled their intent to retain both the Russian Premier League as well as the cup by thrashing Zenith St Petersburg 3 - 0 in the Super Cup, which was played on Saturday at <span class="notranslate">Rostov-on-Don Stadium.<br /><br />Nigeria international Ahmed Musa started the game in attack for the Army Men despite arriving the Russian capital about a week ago.<br /><br />Japan star Keisuke Honda netted a brace (15th, 83rd min) for CSKA Moscow while Sergei Ignashevich scored the game's other goal in the 36 minute.<br /><br />This is the fifth time CSKA Moscow have won the Super Cup, after their triumph in </span><span class="notranslate">2004, 2006, 2007, 2009.<br /><br />According to the Russian Federation, the team that wins the Super Cup for a fifth time gets to keep the trophy permanently.<br /><br />CSKA Moscow's first match in the Premier League is against Ural this coming Wednesday at Stadion Central'nyj (Ekaterinburg).<br /><br />Photo Credit: pfc - cska.com<br /><br /></span>
