AIK Locked In Talks With Ex-Fulham Midfielder Etuhu Over New Deal
AIK Stockholm have opened talks with Nigeria international Dickson Etuhu over the extension of his contract.<br /><br />The defensive midfielder would walk away from Friends Arena as a free agent if he does not extend his agreement with the Swedish Allsvenskan club before December 2016.<br /><br />Sports Manager Björn Wesström, has revealed that AIK are hoping to reach a compromise with Etuhu and goalkeeper Patrik Carlgren.<br /><br />“The ambition is that we will extend. Then, as always, agreeing what the club is capable of and what the players accept,”said Wesström to fotbolltransfers.com.<br /><br />Etuhu defended the colours of Manchester City, Preston North End, Norwich City, Sunderland, Fulham and Blackburn Rovers before his shift to AIK in 2015.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br /><br />
