Premier League legend Alan Shearer has revealed that Ademola Lookman was Leicester City's best player in their loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday evening.
The 2017 U20 World Cup winner is having a fantastic season at the King Power Stadium and there is speculation that he will make his senior debut next month in a 2022 World Cup playoff tie with Ghana after Fifa approved his request for a one-time change of association.
It was all Wolverhampton Wanderers in the first ten to fifteen minutes but after that Leicester City got into the game and found themselves in decent positions to score and Lookman was at the heart of everything good for the Foxes.
The RB Leipzig loanee got the goal he deserved in the 41st minute when he slid home the equaliser after he was found by Albrighton.
"Things that Leicester have done well have come from him (Lookman), he has been involved in all of them, he's been a threat from in behind, he's really caused them, that back three or back five some problems there," Shearer said on Premier League Productions.
"To go short and then go long and with the conditions that obviously are very difficult, he has made the most of that. He has been a real plus point."
On Leicester City's equaliser, the Newcastle United icon said : "Their passing from this point onward from Tielemans to Albrighton who does exactly the same thing again.
"You're looking to open them up with a quality pass and to get not only one but two and Lookman who I feel was their best player on the day is in there to finish it off".
Lookman has directly participated in ten goals (6 goals, 4 assists) in 26 all-competition appearances for Leicester City so far this season.
