Arsenal scout Gilles Grimandi witnessed the Champions League meeting between Monaco and Manchester City at Stade Louis II on Wednesday night.<br /><br />The former Gunners defender, who is the club&rsquo;s chief scout in France, came to run the rule over the stars playing for both teams. <br /><br />Nigeria international Kelechi Iheanacho had only six-plus minutes to show off to Grimandi after coming on as a late substitute. <br /><br />The Taye Academy product was one of the two Golden Eaglets stars linked with a concrete transfer to Arsenal, the other being Chidiebere Nwakali, after starring at the 2013 Fifa U17 World Cup.<br /><br />Iheanacho&rsquo;s Nigerian club scuppered the proposed move to the Emirates because they had a problem with the agent brokering the deal.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br />Photo Credit : mancity.com<br />
