AS Trencin New Kid On The Block Samuel Kalu Nets Third Goal In Five Games
Slovakian champs AS TrenÄín returned to winning ways on Tuesday, beating MFK Ružomberok 1-0 in the Fortuna League and opened up a nine-point lead over nearest challengers Slovan Bratislava, who have a game in hand.<br /><br />The 18-year-old Nigerian striker Samuel Kalu struck his third goal in five games across all competitions in the third minute of the contest at štadión na Sihoti, TrenÄín.<br /><br />Kalu has enjoyed a fruitful month, scoring against today’s opponents on April 6 in the Cup before opening his account in the league four days later against Spartak Myjava.<br /><br />He was named in the starting line-up along with Kingsley Madu and Rabiu Ibrahim and the trio completed the game, while a fourth Nigerian Aliko Bala was introduced in the 76th minute.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel<br />
