Barcelona Challenge Real Madrid For Signature Of English-Born Nigerian Midfielder
Spanish champions Barcelona have joined Real Madrid in the race for the in-form Tottenham Hotspur midfielder of Nigerian heritage Dele Alli, according to reports.<br /><br />It is claimed by The Mirror that the White Hart Lane outfit would consider an offer in the region of £70 million, which is fourteen times the amount they paid MK Dons for his services two years ago. <br /><br />Alli has been in excellent form this season, recording 10 goals and 2 assists in 19 Premier League games.<br /><br />The 20-year-old was first linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain before the interest from the two European giants. <br /><br />He has a contract with Spurs valid until 2022 following an agreement he signed in September 2016.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br />Photo Credit : tottenhamhotspur.com<br />
