Watford sporting director Cristiano Giaretta is pleased with his summer signings, especially in attack.
The Nigeria international, brought in from Belgian champions Club Brugge for a fee of four million euros, has flourished in his maiden season in the English Premier League.
The addition of Dennis and Joshua King has made the Watford squad stronger in attack and the duo made life difficult for Everton in their last away match, scoring four of the five goals.
On his summer signings, Giaretta said to Watford's official website : "We brought in a lot of quality to the squad, especially in the midfield and up front.
"In attack we are very competitive with Sarr, King, João Pedro, Hernández and Dennis – they are all amazing players who can change the game like they did against Everton."
Watford bolstered their midfield with the capture of highly-rated Nigeria international Oghenekaro Etebo, who is currently on the sidelines and not expected to return until 2022, and William Troost-Ekong has shown that he is up to Premier League level in many matches.
"We increased the level in the midfield and we trust the defenders we have.
"Some are not performing to the level we expect but they will improve very soon with the help of the new Head Coach," Giaretta added.
Dennis, a nominee for Watford Goal of the Month for October, was beaten to the award by Josh King.
