Chelsea Commend Nigerian Defender After Sparkling Display Against Aston Villa
Chelsea were delighted with the performance of Nigerian defender Ola Aina in Hull City's 1-1 draw with Aston Villa on the opening day of the new Championship season.
The Premier League champions highlighted that the right wing-back played a part in the Tigers equalizer in the 62nd minute.
Aina also underlined his defensive qualities, with his perfectly-timed tackle denying Agbonlahor a clear sight of goal as the game moved towards half time.
In the review of their loanees who were in action last weekend, Chelsea wrote : ''In the Championship, Ola Aina and Michael Hector came up against John Terry in Hull’s 1-1 draw at Aston Villa.
''Both performed well, Hector in central defence and Aina at right-back, and Aina was involved in the move which led to Hull’s second-half equaliser.''
Ola Aina lasted ninety minutes on the Villa Park turf on his competitive debut for Hull City.
