Chelsea, Liverpool Linked Striker Onyekuru Issues Come And Get Me Plea To Arsenal
Eupen frontman Henry Onyekuru wants to join Alex Iwobi and Chuba Akpom at Arsenal, and has targeted a move to the Premier League.
The Aspire Academy product has taken the Belgian First Division A by storm in his second season as a professional, and has been regularly linked with a move to the top leagues in England, Spain and Germany.
“I love the Premier League and that is where I wish to go, but the best club and league for my career at this moment will be chosen,” Onyekuru told scorenigeria.com.ng.
“Arsenal are the team I always want to play for and joining a Premier League team will get me closer to that dream.”
The likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, West Ham, Everton and Southampton are closely following the performances of Onyekuru in Belgium with a view to a summer move.
The 19-year-old has never played for the Nigerian national team and interested English clubs must be ready to offer him a minimum of 1.7 million pounds wages every year for the deal to be approved by the English authorities.
