<b>Allnigeriasoccer.com</b> has been informed that Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel will be one of the first foreign - based players called up for the friendlies against Democratic Republic of Congo and Cameroon to arrive in Belgium ahead of schedule.<br /><br />The Nigeria Football Federation had instructed all the overseas based players to arrive in Belgium as from Monday, 5th October. <br /><br />But Mikel left his home in London on Sunday afternoon at around 1400 hours to board a British Airways flight to Belgium.<br /><br />As earlier reported, the Super Eagles star was eager to link up with the national team once again after close to a year in the international wilderness, hence his decision to report to camp early.<br /><br />Having played his fifth game of the season against Porto in the Champions League, the defensive midfielder was left out of the Chelsea squad that fell 3 - 1 to Southampton in the Premier League on Saturday.<br /><b><br />Editor</b><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />
