Chelsea striker Ike Ugbo has reacted to joining EFL League One club Scunthorpe United on loan until 31 December 2018 and wants to help the club achieve promotion to the second-tier.
In his first official interview, The Irons new number nine revealed that supporters should expect goals from him.
''They can expect excitement and lots of goals from me. I want to get playing time because I want to kick on to the next stage of my career,'' Ugbo told Scunthorpe United's official website.
"I want to get promotion get this season.''
Ugbo trained for the first time with his new teammates on Thursday morning and enjoyed the workout.
He said : ''It was a good session today, but it was good to find out about the philosophy of the team and what I need to work on.
"The manager (Stuart McCall) has also spoken very highly of me.''
The 19-year-old spent time on loan at Barnsley and MK Dons last season, scoring 4 goals in all competitions for both teams.
